The Transition of Letting SAM the Collective Consciousness Go After 18 1/2 Years

When the guides named SAM (Securely Attached to Mankind, and their inside joke was Securely Attached to Maureen) originally came through me in 2006, they told me that they were my permanent guides for the rest of my life. No one else could channel them, they were ‘attached’ to me, and that they and I had a lot of karma to work through and that most likely they would be with me until I died.

So you can understand how surprised I was when I had to fully let them go as of December 2024. If they were meant to be with me the rest of my life, and yet the only option was for them to leave, was I dying? Why would I need such a transition into new guides if karmically they were meant to be who I channelled?

The answer to that is a really long story, and for new clients who are just learning about who we are now, it just won’t matter. But so many of you have followed me for many years, I wanted you to have a brief understanding of what has played out and why SAM is no longer with me in any sense - not as a personal guide, not attached to me at all. They are in their own Guides’ Life Review and will be for some time. They are not reachable for anyone to channel at this point, and may choose to stay that way long term.

I just asked my new guides - omg - where the heck do I even start with this? How do I know what to include and what not to? And they suggested, ‘Can we explain it from the higher consciousness view’?

Yes, I’m agreeing to that. So much has happened since moving to Kamloops and taking the better part of 3 years off to work on my own inner healing, that I really don’t know how to encapsulate all of this succinctly.

Part of the reason Maureen hesitates in sharing is because so much of what occurred was learning shared in the private group she ran for over 15 years. Many of you who still follow us were in it at one point, or had the opportunity to try a free month of it several years ago when she offered that. And, some of you left it, feeling it was no longer an alignment. And, there were a few cases over the years where a few were asked to leave, who were also not in alignment with the intentions of the group. Why does this matter?

Karmically, Maureen was meant to channel SAM this lifetime. She wouldn’t have been able to avoid them as she stayed open to be a vessel for Source/ All There Is. She had channelled them in other past lives, and there was much to heal/rectify, so though it appeared to her that SAM came along randomly, it was not random at all.

The arc of her learning and the learning of the group that manifested itself - the one of different names over the years - Ultimate Connection Group, Truth Seekers, LEAD group - regardless of name, all of the people that were drawn to be a part of the monthly group had karma to heal both with other members, Maureen, and SAM.

And heal they did. And sometimes it was ugly. SAM offered up the karmic perspective of context - what was happening behind the scenes of some issues in the group - issues where the karma was for these humans to be called out as Souls who had repeated these patterns many times before. Even though the people on an Ego level did not necessarily remember their karmic playouts with members of the group, Maureen, and SAM, there were often several lifetimes of back and forth, tit for tat issues that SAM was guiding the group to clear once and for all.

This made for drama. There were a few healers in Winnipeg that Maureen knew had told a few of her clients not to join the group, because something about the group ‘was off’. What they were picking up on, was the deep karmic ties the people in the group had, and the soul contract that was in place for them to move through their issues once and for all. At one point the group had the hashtag, #whatever it takes.

Finally, the issues had the opportunity to be fully resolved, each member to be karmically clear (after 17 lifetimes of complicated karmic webs). An opportunity for Maureen to be clear as well. It was an opportunity to clear the ‘curse’ of this back and forth tit for tat karmic attacks that the soul players had been experiencing for several lifetimes. SAM’s job was to get the group karmically clear enough to reach a certain level (which they did successfully), and as a result, they were supposed to share power and hand off part of their teaching skills to a higher level group that were called the Council Guides. This conglomeration of 76 council guides took Maureen several months to download, and as she did, SAM continued to teach with the help of some of these new guides.

However the karmic contract between the Council Guides, Maureen, SAM, and The Group Members, was not realized. The Council Guides did not follow through with what they were supposed to do for the group - to certify that after 17 lifetimes of going back and forth with who harmed who, they were finally going to be freed from this struggle. SAM had achieved their part of the deal - they got them to the point where they cleared as much of the karma of the group as possible - often by dealing with those dramas that occurred in real life in the group. All of those had karmic undertones. Yet the Council Guides did not follow through on their part - they didn’t lift the ‘curse’, or end the penance of the group members, Maureen, SAM.

And so the only way to end this karmic web, was to go over the Council Guides head to ask for an assessment of the karma. SAM did this, in March of 2024, and as a result, by a higher group of guides called The Higher-Ups (think of a hierarchy system, with guides that were ‘the boss’ of the Council Guides, with the Council Guides supposed to be the boss of SAM), the private group was ended abruptly as the only way to end the karma completely among members, Maureen, and SAM. During this time, Maureen didn’t work at all, as per instruction of The Higher Ups. So no group, no private sessions other than 1 or 2 over 10 months that the guides allowed to be done. Otherwise, the work was to find other ways to move through this ‘curse’ so that the group members, Maureen, and SAM would be free of the karmic web.

In the end, after months of healing, conversations with the Higher Ups, denouncing the Council Guides, it was decided that the only way to resolve this in the fastest way was for SAM to no longer be channelled through Maureen, and for replacements for the Council Guides to be found.

So, in facebook posts around November 2024, Maureen mentioned that new guides were being downloaded and SAM was only coming through around 25%. This was the transition to allow Maureen to integrate with the new guides that refer to themselves at this point by numbers. 37 being the ‘base’, so Maureen calls them Base 37, and they continue to add in over the months, and are currently at the time of writing this up to 270.

So in a sense, SAM sacrificed themselves and their purpose with Maureen in order to allow this karma to resolve itself once and for all.

This is the crude, short version. There are many nuances to this, many details missing, which the group members know, but at this time it isn’t important to share publicly.

However, we do share this because we know several of you that still follow us that were in the group at one point over the 15 years, and so in a sense this concerns you. This gives you the opportunity to understand what your role was, in reaching the end of this arc of healing. Was your Soul one of the ones that had repeated patterns and needed to be called out? Was your Soul one of the ‘peacekeepers’ who came in for a while to assuage the group, only to see that there was still too much karma to still play out, and you got out of dodge? There are several scenarios here of your roles, too many to mention.

And the good news? SAM was restricted by karma. They weren’t allowed to teach anything else, thus why so much of their focus had to be on soul contracts and karmic blocks. However we, as the replacement for the Council Guides that were meant to elevate the teachings, can now be free to teach you whatever we believe is needed for this earth game to be better played. Certainly understanding your karmic contracts and what the learning of the Soul is, is part of it. However, it is not all of it.
